Administration

Nicole Griffith attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving both a Bachelor of Journalism and a BA in Geography. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. Ms. Griffith has spent the last 13 years in education. For seven years, she taught 9th grade World Geography, before stepping into a leadership role as the Academy Director for The Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School. After three years as the Academy Director of Global Studies, she transitioned to the role of Academy Director, overseeing all four academies at Austin High School, holding that position for another three years.
She was the Interim Principal at McCallum High School and is honored and excited to begin her new role as Principal. She hopes to remain a MAC Knight for years to come. Throughout her years working with young people, Ms. Griffith has dedicated herself to providing as many opportunities for enriched and collaborative learning as possible.
Ms. Griffith is married, and together, they have one child. She is an avid traveler and has traveled to six of the seven continents. She loves to read, camp, hike and sit around a campfire.
