Did you know that McCallum High School & Fine Arts Academy is home to one of the leading classical guitar programs for students in Texas? We are reaching out to raise awareness and funds for this award-winning program.
The ensemble’s primary fundraiser (and one of the student favorites) is the upcoming Battle of the Bands on Wednesday, November 16, at the McCallum Fine Arts Building Theater.
A few highlights of the student Battle of the Bands contest:
- Approx. 120-150 students and supporters are expected to watch McCallum student bands fight for the “best band” honor.
- Two winning bands will play at Hole in the Wall in Spring 2023
- Proceeds from Battle of the Bands will support future guitar and equipment purchases, visiting master class musicians and scholarships for the students’ 2023 trip + performance in NYC.
We hope that you will consider supporting the Mac Classical Guitar Program with a tax-deductible donation that will help the students reach their performance goals this year. A one-time 2022-23 donation will include your company logo (or name) as a Battle of the Bands sponsor, as well as additional logo/name placement on the BotB poster, and in the 2023 Guitar Spring Performance program.

2022-23 McCallum Guitar Program Sponsorship Opportunities
- Presenting Sponsor: $2,500 – includes header on BoB t-shirt, large logo/name in Spring program and verbal acknowledgement as presenting sponsor at BotB event
- Gold Sponsor: $1,000 – preferential placement of logo on BoB t-shirt, small logo/name in Spring program and verbal acknowledgement at BotB event
- Silver Sponsor: $500 – placement of logo on Bob t-shirt, small logo in Spring program and verbal acknowledgement at BotB event
- Bronze Sponsor: $250 – placement of logo on BoB t-shirt and in the Spring program
