The MACares team would like to thank the entire McCallum vertical team community for your support this school year. Every penny raised goes directly to families in financial need, with payment of rent or utilities, gift cards for groceries and gas, and bus passes. We also rely on community donations for our team holiday present campaign, and snacks, advanced placement test fees, and a formalwear giveaway at McCallum HS.
None of this could be accomplished without private, community, and vertical team PTA donations who we appreciate so very much. We would especially like to recognize our biggest supporters this year: Parker + Scott, Ten Thousand Villages, Amy’s Ice Creams, Phil’s Icehouse, and the Highland Park Elementary PTA. We are indebted to each of these businesses and organizations; we literally could not do our work without you.
We also want to thank everyone who sponsored a MACares family this holiday season. Because of you, 35 families in the Mac team were given presents , and gift cards for food. Special thank you to Mac parent Catherine Cunningham , as well, for coordinating this monumental task.
